Use the amazing network of mountain huts each night, often with spectacular views to admire, whilst you relax after a great day’s walking. So why not discover the great mountain regions of France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Slovenia and Slovakia?
Head to the High Atlas mountains of Morocco and explore the mule trails linking Berber villages, or tackle one of the many amazing peaks to be found there. If you want to stand on North Africa’s highest peak, Jebel Toubkal, then you can walk up its rocky slopes and admire the view across the mountains to the desert beyond.
Why not head to the land of ice and fire? With a landscape still being born, Iceland is a fantastic place to walk. A number of multi day walks are possible through the many National Parks, each offering a wide range of changing scenery and fascinating flora and fauna.
If you enjoy winter walking then why not consider doing a trip to these places to discover what they have to offer in winter? A combination of snow, cold weather, sunshine and blue skies can make them a magical winter wonderland!
