Scottish Overnight Snow Holing Trip (2 days)
Ever fancied spending a night out in a snow hole? Why not spend two days walking in the mountains and spend the night in a snow hole? Eden Outdoor Adventures will guide you through the mountains to a suitable snow hole site. There you will learn how to dig a snow hole that you can comfortably spend the night in. The following day we will continue to explore the mountains on our way back to the valley and all the creature comforts it has to offer. These two days are based in Scotland.
Two days walking in snowy terrain with reasonable amounts of ascent and descent, requiring a good level of fitness and previous summer hill walking experience.
£170 per person minimum of 2 maximum of 6 people
We are able to arrange pick up and drop offs from one of the following airports - Glasgow, Edinburgh or Inverness - before and after the trip. We can advise you on the best airport depending on where you wish to do the trip.
What is Included:
Qualified winter mountain leader to guide you during the trip
All transport during the trip
Food and drinks
Use of camping equipment (cookers, fuel, mug, bowl, spoon, water bottles), tools for making snow holes, ice axes, crampons, head torch and safety equipment.
What is Excluded:
Transport to and from the start of the trip unless booked as an optional extra.
Accommodation - we can advise you on accommodation for the night before or after the trip.
Waterproofs, rucksacks, walking poles, sleeping bags can be hired for a small fee.
